As a Mama of a skinny baby, I know how tough it can sometimes be to find a cloth diaper with a good fit. That’s why I thought I would look at the thousands of responses to the cloth diaper surveys to see what diapers stacked up as being BEST for those skinny little cuties of ours.
Before we jump into the list, let me first tell you how I collected this data. I based this off of the thousands of survey responses filled out on cloth diapers here at Padded Tush Stats. I only looked at diapers that had received over 20 survey responses. I also only looked at the “Fit” on “Skinny Babies.” I looked at no other information regarding performance (i.e. absorbency). I have also copied in any comments that survey respondents made pertaining to fit (in italics).

“The fit has been a little challenging as her thighs have expanded but her tummy remains super skinny and she is altogether still smaller than recommended beginning weight range but the fit on these is still far better than with many of her other diapers/”
“I typically use the stay-dry duo insert with it and I’m able to use that overnight with no leaks!”
“Great paired up with a stay dry duo insert or fab fitted. I have no leaks with this cover.”

Rumparooz One Size Cover (Score 86%)

“These are one of our favorite covers. The only concern I have with them is that on the smaller settings they form a little gap. We have not had leaks but it concerns me that if I don’t get everything situated just right I may end up with a leak. Otherwise, I love the material and fit of these covers.”
